Jan Sobotka

Jan Sobotka is the Founder and Principal of VFRONTIER Inc., a consultancy dedicated to delivering creative business solutions, strategy, and design for organizations in need of renewal and transformation. The firm specializes in guiding companies and institutions through inflection points toward sustained growth.

Since 2020, Jan has been embedded as a strategic consultant at Corinex Corp., where he has played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution. During his tenure, Corinex underwent a complete overhaul, and in 2025 raised over $33 million in growth capital, establishing itself as a key provider of grid flexibility technologies. Today, Jan continues to guide Corinex’s expansion into the US and UK markets, while also leading the company’s ESG initiatives, capturing its impact on the path to net-zero grid operations.

Beyond his consulting work, Jan has co-founded HESTI Inc., an AI-driven platform at the intersection of real estate, construction, and architecture.

Jan serves as a Principal at LaNa West, an architectural practice based in Bangkok, Thailand, that fuses Eastern and Western traditions to create bespoke, private, and boutique architecture. He is also the co-founder of SOBOMOGO LLC, an atelier and fabricator through which he pursues select architectural and design projects.

His earlier career includes design and innovation roles at DE+ in San Francisco and UNStudio in Amsterdam, where he contributed to high-profile projects such as the Hardt Hyperloop. From 2016 to 2019, he was a founding member and Chief Co-Editor of WASH Magazine, recipient of several Graham Foundation grants.

Jan’s work has been exhibited at international venues including Mont des Arts and the Venice Biennale (2021). He has also collaborated with institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts. He holds a BA in Economics & Psychology from McGill University and a Master of Architecture from The School of Architecture at Taliesin (Frank Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture), where he received multiple Dean’s Awards and scholarships for academic excellence.
